Benny Powell started his career at Marvel Comics where he worked directly under Bob Harras, the Editor-in-Chief. During his time assisting on the X-Men titles.  This was during the “Age of Apocalypse” run and all nine of the books he was involved with were consistently the top nine selling books in the industry.  Within his first month working in editorial, his What If? script was accepted and his freelance writing career began.  After leaving Marvel, he served as Editor-In-Chief to the comic book company, Bench Press Studios that worked with Hasbro Publishing and initially held the GI Joe and Transformers licenses before it dissolved due to outside forces.

 

In addition to his comic book work, he has held high-level marketing positions within Priceline.com during their formative years, as well as a stint as the global marketing writer for IBM. His television, marketing and advertising materials for Dynetech properties led the company to grow to become the second-largest company in Orlando during his tenure.

 

Over the years, Benny Powell has also handled ghost-writing for numerous national best-selling books in both fiction and non-fiction. These books have garnered praise by critics and readers as well as earning numerous awards.

Hector Collazo is a talented artist who started at Marvel in the 80's as an intern. After his internship was completed, he quickly secured a staff position in the art department and editorial, where he worked for many years before pursuing freelance work full-time.

During his decades-long career, his work has been seen at Marvel, DC and various other independent comic book companies. He is not only a phenomenal penciller, but a renowned inker as well.

After a brief time working outside of the comic book industry, he has decided to return to comics as the artist for Wayward Sons.
